At least, this is what the paper is calling it this morning. The BBC News has an article on it calling it perigee moon, which makes it sound like it’s really to do with the moon and not with a moon wearing a cape of some kind:

If you don’t get around to reading the article, you can relax in the safety of knowing that scientists have declared that the perigee moon is not responsible for lycanthropy or natural disasters.
